Pianist Steven Wray performs music of Beethoven, Suk, Schoenberg, Pokorny, and Brahms. The CD reflects a fondness for the culture of two historically significant cities of central Europe in which he has lived, studied and performed - namely, Vienna and Prague. This is a very enjoyable recording; of particular note are the Brahms Variations, which we enjoyed very much indeed.
